So, who am I?

I am a high school student who loves Jesus, my family, music, and taking pictures of any kind of nature. I am blessed to have a great family and church community to lean on.

By going on my past mission trips, I have learned so much about God, myself, and this big world including and beyond my bubble. I think that everyone should go on a mission trip to be pushed out of their comfort zone and be challenged to see the world in a different perspective. This also forces a person to rely on God for the confidence and courage to do what they are called to.

I go to The Church of Eleven22.

Well...I do more than just go! I enjoy teaching the K-2nd grade kids every week and leading worship for the elementary kids at the 9am service. I LOVE these kids and getting to talk with them about God! One of my favorite things is seeing one or two of them out in public and having them run up to give me a huge hug! I do my best to be a positive role model of a Christian teenager that they can look up to and talk to when they need help.

I'm also very involved in student ministry at the church! I get to be a part of the Student Leadership Team for high schoolers who help run midweek gatherings for students. I have had some amazing student ministers at my campus as well, and have learned so much for them about ministry and life. I am so lucky to go to my church. Our main pastor, Pastor Joby Martin, loves the students and makes sure that student ministry is always a priority. Each year we have so many amazing events, from camps in summer to One Weekend in winter and consistent midweek services, I have had so many opportunities to grow in my faith!

My Family!

My immediate family is my rock. My parents put a lot of effort into making sure I have a safe space to love, grow, hurt, and try new things. Beyond our family unit, I have a large group of people who love and support me for just being me. I'm so grateful for the people God has placed in my life to be an automatic support system!
